The Hen and the Golden Egg

Chapter 1 : The Hen

1 - Once upon a time, there was a farmer  who was very poor  .
2 - He worked really hard  but he did not earn  a lot of money and he did not have a lot to eat  .
3 - One day after returning from his work, he was very hungry  .

4 - What am I going to eat  tonight ? he thought  .

5 - Then he heard  a hen  outside and thought  this would be a good meal for dinner.
6 - It was pretty hard to catch  but after a lot of work, he finally caught  it.
7 - He then got back into his tiny  house and grabbed  a knife  .
8 - He was ready to cut  the hen but as he was about to do so, it started to speak  !
